Very Uncomfortable and Causes Jaw Pain
I've had these XM6s for about 8 months and own multiple generations of the 1000X series. These are the most uncomfortable headphones I have ever worn. I have tried to wear this consistently but they keep causing jaw pain (TMJ pain). The pain lasts for hours even after taking off the headphones. Everything else about the headphones are fantastic (ANC/Ambient mode/etc) but if I can't wear these for more than 10 minutes without pain, it's bad. Maybe the recent Sony 1000x the collexion fixed the comfort but the XM6 are painful.

Best sound ever
I have noise induced hearing loss and these are the best headphones ever, I get almost no distortion and I’m here and sounds. I couldn’t hear anywhere else. I can’t wait for the X7. Terrific headphones.

Great!The finish picks up fingerprints extremely easily. Once the EQ is customized, they sound good, but at this price point I would expect the connectivity issues across devices and with the app, as well as the fingerprint problem, not to exist. I think Sony should have spent more time on development and testing before releasing these headphones.

Very good noise cancellation.
I purchased these because my beats studio pro from a few years ago physically broke in such a way that they could no longer be repaired with duct tape. They are hands down the best noise cancelling Ive ever tried. So good that its spooky, you can feel that there is sound in the space around you, logically you but you cant hear it. Right now I am sitting in an AirBnB, the AC unit sounds like an idling truck engine, I measured it at its source to be 70 Decibels. These headphones nearly completely mute it, out of the box. The build quality is quite good, and the design and comfort of the headphones is also very good, their is not any pressure or discomfort of any kind. other reviews mention that the firmware in some cases doesn't seamlessly allow you to transfer or share the Bluetooth stream between multiple devices such as your phone AND your computer. Such functionality might not realistically be possible with the type of wireless protocol Bluetooth is, but if that is your use case maybe try the the apple product also. For exceptionally good audio and design get these.

Fingerprints everywhere / connectivity issues
Here’s a polished version of your review that keeps all your points but is clearer, more professional, and correct for typos and grammar: I bought the Sony WH‑1000XM6 a couple of weeks ago. Overall, the sound is good, and it would be nice if they sounded a bit better out of the box, but sound quality is not the main problem. The biggest issues are connectivity and multi‑device behavior. When the headphones are connected to both a MacBook and an iPhone, audio from the iPhone usually won’t play while the MacBook is active unless I explicitly disconnect the MacBook. The dual‑device connection feature is very buggy in practice. Connecting to the Sony | Sound Connect app on iPhone is also very glitchy and often forces me to disconnect my laptop audio first. The fingerprint issue is also terrible. I regularly wipe them down with a microfiber cloth and light glasses cleaner spray, which cleans them off, but the moment I touch them again, new marks appear all over. The finish picks up fingerprints extremely easily. Audio engineering made perfect!
I've had these headphones for about 4 months now, and I have nothing but positive feedback! I'll admit, I was wary to purchase headphones so expensive at first, but they're well worth the investment. I use these for both my work and personal life. If you're looking for comfort, you won't get any better than this. I wear mine on average 5-6 hours a day and sometimes forget they are even there. The noise cancellation and ambient sound mode are very cool; the fact that I can switch from hearing everything just as if I didn't have any headphones on, to completely silencing everything around me, you'd think God made them Himself. I rarely have to charge them, the battery lasts for days! I even wore them while playing basketball, and I was so impressed by how well they stayed snug on my head. Lastly, what most people care about is the audio. I love the standard and cinema modes. If you watch movies or shows on your devices, these headphones will genuinely make you feel as though you're in a movie theater. The sound is immaculate! In standard mode, listening to everyday videos, or music is better than ever with the clear and precise audio. I make tons of phone calls with them as well, never had any issues of being heard or hearing someone on the other line. Long story short, buy these headphones!

Noise Cancellation is top tier!
These headphones are definitely worth the price. I had been looking for good headphones for college, to survive the loud library’s and coffee shops. It’s kind of scary how silent the world goes when I put noise cancellation on. They are comfortable, easy to store, and I am able to workout with them as well. If you are thinking about buying them, DO IT!! Sony killed it with these headphones, especially the XM6!
