This 8" carving knife makes it easy to serve and slice meat effortlessly. Confidently carve roast turkey, slice ham smoothly, and cut prime rib into succulent slices. ZWILLING Pro boasts a unique curved bolster that acts as an extension of the hand, supporting the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The blade was designed with a broad curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the chopping motion Japanese knives were designed for. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip.

Great knife for my small hands.

I have small hands and this knife is the perfect size for me. It is fairly lightweight, very well balanced, and fits very comfortably in my hand. The edge is very sharp and is easy to maintain it’s sharpness with sharpening and use of a steel.

Very nice

I researched various knife brands and brand series online before selecting the Zwilling Pro 8” carving knife. This Pro series is a nice mid-price point for a really excellent blade. Not too expensive if bought individually to build your kitchen collection and watch for holiday sales. The knife feels very solid and well balanced. Has a heavier weight to it that I feel won’t slip or bog down carving through slices. The blade does not feel “bendy” at all, it feels like it will hold its edge for a long time with proper care and maintenance.

Best slicing knife you will ever own

Best general slicing knife I have ever owned. It just slides through meats and vegetables (for example lemons) with very little effort. It combined with my 8" Chef's knife are about all I ever use any more.
