Great looking but sleeves are too long on me

This is a fabulous looking jacket but after I tried it on I realized the sleeves were much too long for me. For reference, I am 5'5" and normal length arms. I am a Zadig and Voltaire devotee and this looked so great - but you cannot cuff it w/o losing some of the detail. The other neg was that the fabric is really stiff and it buttons on the men's side. I do not mind the side it buttons on - but - the stiffness of the fabric was also an issue for me - I happen to like military styled jackets though not ones that are quite this stiff. Again - it just was not right for me - and I really only buy blazers and jackets from Z&V because of their beautiful tailoring, design, fit and fabric choice of textiles. So - this is still a beautiful jacket only this one did not work on me. I do recommend it for a taller, long limbed person and one who is not sensitive to a stiffer fabric. It screams subtly - magnificent - as does all of their jackets. It is an elegant military jacket.
