Nice look, but low on function…

Was excited to receive this jacket, but ended up returning it. As with all Marine Layer products, the jacket was of high quality. I loved the appearance and the color, but this item shows hardly any practical purpose. The material and thickness is similar to a thin rain jacket you might wear in the summer time, but there is, of course, no hood on it to keep your head dry. In terms of warmth, you would get more out of wearing just a second shirt or flannel. I really wanted to like this jacket, but at the price point, I didn’t feel it offered enough to hold onto.
