Well constructed but try on before purchasing

This dress is well constructed and I love the dark burgundy color. I saw myself wearing this dress in the Fall with a matching mesh or knit top. But my husband gave some color commentary when I was trying on the dress - "Ehhh, that looks like an apron on you!" So, I am returning. Perhaps this dress would look better on someone else, just make sure to try it on before buying.
