FALSE ADVERTISEMENT

This LONGCHAMP bag was advertised as navy blue and purchased as navy blue, original price $650, marked down to $198. I received the item in a Nutmeg color, original price $495. After contacting Bloomingdales customer service, I was informed the bag advertised was never on sale and the $198 bag does not come in navy blue. The representative stated she was unsure of the error, either Longchamp pricing versus Bloomingdales tech department. Unfortunately, I was offered to be assisted with placing an order for the navy blue and pay full price. There was no alternative, Bloomingdales failed to establish any responsibility or accountability for the false advertisement. This is truly disheartening and unacceptable for customers investing large amounts in this retail chain.
