inconsistant shots and excessively loud grinder

After spending a great amount of time and effort dialing in the shot profiles I got the machine to make perfect extractions. After a couple of weeks use, the shots were under extracted. I take great care in cleaning the machine and have been a Breville owner for over 10 years. of the three Machines I currently own The Oracle Touch is the most inconsistent. besides the shot inconsistencies I find that the Grinder is unbearably loud.

Oracle Touch - Nothing Can Touch It.

I've had an Oracle Touch in my home for seven years and our family has made over 10,000 coffees in that time according to the machine's counter. It's been a great machine with no repairs required - until I was gifted a kilo of coffee beans a few years ago that just happened to have a small stone in it about the size, shape and colour of a coffee bean and which shook the whole machine violently and resulted in a trip to the repair shop. It's run perfectly ever since. So, when I saw Breville had the same machine on sale at a similar price to when I originally bought mine I didn't hesitate to snap up a new one and gift the old one to family members elsewhere. They're ecstatic and immediately ditched their pod machine because they know how good the coffee is at my place. A few rules need to be followed to get the most out of the Oracle Touch. Read the brochure in detail - yeah I know this goes against the grain for most males but you'll learn heaps about making the best coffee possible. Follow the machine's maintenance program and again, you'll get consistently great coffee and the machine will last much, much longer. If possible don't buy supermarket beans - find a local roaster who has coffee you love and buy your freshly roasted beans there. If you must buy from a supermarket look for beans that have a "roasted on" date and NOT a "use by" date. Discard any beans not used a month after their roasting. So there you have it - a great looking machine in the kitchen that just goes and goes, day in day out with great, flavourful coffee no matter what your preferred brew. So good I bought another one!

As the name suggests, The Oracle Touch is one touch away from a perfect cup of coffee just the way you love it. Easy to program for each family member. I highly recommend this for those who love a great cup of coffee with just a touch of a pre-programmed preset.

Miracle Oracle Touch

We have had an Oracle for 8 years which was very reliable. We have just upgraded to an Oracle Touch and it appears to deliver great coffee too. It has been easy to operate etc and appearance is really good. Based on our years of Breville appliance ownership and the performance of all products we would recommend Breville appliances
