A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The Chef's Knife blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip.

Long lasting, family favorite company

My first knife set was from their other company called Henkel, and was given to me as a gift. After loosing them in a move I knew what company I would go back to in the future. ZWILLING is a family loved product now. I’d look forward to buying more if these knives weren’t so longstanding and durable.

Just the right amount of knives!

Absolutely love this knife set. Chef's knife is a perfect fit in the hand, bread knife gets the job done, having both the utility knife and the pairing knife is a perfect 1-2 punch for handling the smaller items. I bought a set of 4 Zwilling pro steak knives to go along with this set. Outside of a maybe a breaker knife, there isn't much else that you need! Avoid those knife sets with 15 knives, you won't use em all!
