Poor quality

Definitely do not buy this. The formula is extremely dry, making it difficult to apply smoothly. The pencil may be slim, but barely any product comes out, and the dark brown shade isn’t impressive enough to justify the struggle. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Underwhelming

I don’t understand how this is meant to work. I was under the impression that the entire nib would be pigmented, but only the base works. I personally find this does not allow very controlled application. Additionally the colour is not great and you cannot touch it up - either another coat or to mildly correct. The next coat removes the first, even a few seconds after first applied. This is meant to be long lasting but it comes off as soon as touched. Not what I expected.

Ultimate brown liner

I’ve struggled for ages to find a brown liner and this is by far the best I’ve found. The colour comes out and stays vs other brown liquid eye liners which are not consistent with the colour. Tip is a bit stuff but fine for a very light line/ cat eye

Not good

This isn’t a good liquid liner! The tip is extremely sharp and isn’t flexible at all so it’s difficult to get a neat line. The formula is poor too, if you go over the line to increase opacity, it pulls the product off and goes patchy. It also doesn’t last at all, even the slightest touch of your eye and it rubs off. The colours isn’t great either, it’s not very opaque but is very deep brown so you may as well be using a basic black liner. The only thing I like about this product is the packaging and how compact it is. It really isn’t worth the price!

Very Dry Tip, Does Not Glide

I LOVE Chantecaille and thought I would try the liquid eyeliner. I am very disappointed, both liners I bought were very dry. Initially I thought the first one was old so I tried another one and have the same problem. I am a Chantecaille loyalist. I was very disappointed with the eyeliner.
