Love the way it upgrades my mood

Got a sample at one of the department stores in Tokyo. Loved it, but we had left Tokyo the next morning. Bought it at the airport on the way home. Reminded me of an Amani perfume I use to wear in the 1980's, which was no longer available in the early 1990's in the US. Suzhou is hard to find in the US. Currently need a refill and will request for Mother's Day. Love to wear on days when I want to feel elegant.

PIVOINE SUZHOU EAU DE TOILETTE

This is one of those fragrances that just feels effortlessly pretty from the first spray. It opens super fresh and airy — you get that soft peony straight away, but it’s not heavy or old-fashioned at all. It’s more like a clean, modern floral with a slightly fruity sparkle running through it, which makes it feel really easy to wear. What I like most is how smooth it is. Nothing screechy, nothing overpowering — it just blends into the skin in this really soft, elegant way. There’s a slight rosy sweetness in the background, plus a hint of musk that keeps it from being too sugary. It feels very “expensive but quiet” — not loud or attention-grabbing, more like someone who smells naturally amazing without trying. Longevity is decent for a light floral (better on clothes than skin), and it’s perfect for spring and summer days when you want something fresh but still luxurious. Overall, it’s a simple fragrance, but done really beautifully.

I have 3 of Armani Prive fragrances (this scent, Pivione Suzhou and, Merhe Imperiale (discontinued)) and I love it! However, because it is toilette it doesn’t last throughout the day.
