Great Look, Annoying Waistband

I recently bought this midi knit skirt, and while it looks absolutely perfect when first worn, I have one major issue. The elastic band inside the waistband tends to fold after a few hours of wear, making it uncomfortable and less flattering. The fabric itself is great—soft, stretchy, and has a nice drape—but the folded band creates an odd shape around the belly area. I wish the waistband was designed better or stitched in a way that prevents this from happening. If you’re okay with adjusting it throughout the day, it’s still a stylish and versatile skirt.
