Best one yet!

Calms the brass

I recently bought the Olaplex No. 4P Blonde Enhancer Toning Shampoo to use on my hair to help hydrate and maintain it and so far I have found it really good! My hair is long and fine with blond highlights which mean it can get very dry on the ends but oily on the roots so this is the perfect way to help support it without weighing it down. So far it seems to be working well on the blonde- will repurchase when it runs out!

Faboulus Hair Days !

I recently tried this shampoo, and I have to say I’m genuinely impressed with the results. From the very first wash, I noticed a visible difference in the shine and softness of my hair. It feels incredibly smooth, looks healthier, and has a natural glow that I haven’t been able to achieve with other products I’ve used in the past. My hair is lightened, so often there’s a brassy tone developing over time, which can make it look dull. However, this shampoo has a high level of pigmentation that works really well to counteract those warm, brassy tones. After just one use, my hair looked noticeably more ashy, brighter, and refreshed, which is exactly the result I was hoping for. Just a small quantity and lathers very well and I will definitely recommend the product !

Works pretty well

This is my second time purchasing this bottle, they last a very long time and also leave your blonde hair a lot brighter. The only thing I would recommend is to wash your hair first with regular shampoo and then apply the purple shampoo for better results. I used to apply it before my showers but when I did that it would not last very long on my blonde hair.

Not soo good for me

I had high expectations for this purple shampoo, especially because it is marketed as being effective at neutralising brassy tones, but unfortunately my experience has been disappointing. After using it several times, I did not notice a significant difference in the tone of my hair. While it gave a very slight cooling effect after repeated use, the results were much less noticeable than I expected compared with other purple shampoos I have tried. One issue I found is that the formula feels quite drying, particularly on highlighted or already processed hair. After rinsing, my hair often felt rough and in need of a deep conditioner to restore softness. Because purple shampoos are usually used to maintain blonde or lightened hair, I expected a formula that balanced toning with moisture more effectively. Another downside is that the product needs to be left on for quite a while to have any visible effect, which makes it less convenient for regular use. Even then, the brassiness around certain sections of my hair remained noticeable. I also found that the product did not lather as well as expected, so I had to use more than I anticipated, meaning the bottle did not last very long. Overall, while it may work better for others depending on hair type and tone, it did not meet my expectations. For the price, I was hoping for stronger toning results and a gentler formula, so I would probably not repurchase it.

Best one out there

I’ve tried pretty much all purple shampoos on the market as someone with silver hair for the last 5 years. This one is perfect. It does not stain, yet it’s not weak to show no results. Additionally I have noticed using this my hair is left soft and healthier meanwhile other shampoos dry it out.
