  • How To Use It

    - Shake then dispense a fingertip amount.
    - Dot onto the areas you want most coverage (like cheeks, forehead and chin).
    - Blend with fingertips, sponge or brush from the center of your face outward. Build to full coverage as needed. Let each layer dry before applying more. Press in with fingertips for a natural-skin finish.

    Pro Tip for Flawless Skin Prep:
    1. Apply half a dropper of Advanced Night Repair Serum (sold separately).
    2. Let it dry down for at least one minute.
    3. Apply Double Wear (sold separately) in thin layers.

Why

Why would you change the formula for a makeup that has been recognized as one of the best. I have been wearing the Doublewear Soft Tan for over 30 years. I am so disappointed in the new formula, does not give you a fresh look as the day goes by, it goes from okay to the worst in a hurry. Also seems to go orange. Needless to say that I'm on the hunt for a makeup that could go against the old formula!!! Just, WHY did you change it up.

New formula causes rash and breakouts

I can't imagine why in the world a company took a best selling makeup and changed the formula. I've been using Double Wear for years, and the new formulation caused an eczema-like rash on my face where I had never had a rash before and random pimples. I'm 60 years old, and haven't had that many pimples in decades. I stopped using the makeup and the problems cleared up. I'd advise people with sensitive skin to steer clear of this makeup.

No longer sensitive skin-safe!

Like so many others, I have been a double Wear foundation user since I was in high school( I'm now in my 40s). I have very light and sensitive skin and this new formula does not play nicely with either. It comes off as orangey on my pale skin and breaks me out/ irritates my skin. I will be shopping for a new foundation - please listen to your customers and bring back the old formula!

Great product

This is the first time I have purchased this item. My skin is uneven due to sun damage. I wanted something that would blend well and also provide good coverage. I’ve only used it a few times and if I am happy with it I will definitely purchase this product again

Unhappy

I have been a double foundation user for at least 40 years! Yes, that's what I said! I cannot believe that they changed the formula after all this time." if it's not broke, why fix it" I do not like the new formula. One bit! It was very tacky. Did not stay on did not like the color. Nothing about. It was appealing at all. Please please please bring back the old formula.

Double Wear matte

Estee lauder made a big mistake changing the formula on this makeup. They don't even give us a choice to go back to the original formula. Just the mat formula only. I noticed the difference when I started using the map formula in my face felt sticky after applying the makeup. I did get a refund, but I am going to have to switch brands. I am no longer happy with estee. Lauder's products. It's sad because I have been using them for over a decade.

Horrible new formula

I've been using double wear foundation for over 20 years. I don't want to find a new foundation but the new formula is awful. I've gave it some time and bought a few bottles but the more I use it the more I hate it. I ran out and found an old bottle and was shocked at how much better it was. I miss it and I'm so disappointed in this bread. For the money that I pay for this makeup and the amount that I've spent over the years I am truly going to miss having my go to foundation. I used to recommend it to everyone and now I tell people that it's the worst.
