Shrinking

This is a super cute top that I feel like I could wear in the spring by itself or layered for fall or winter under a sweater, but the very first time I washed it, which was in cold water according to the instructions it shrank! I didn’t even put it in the dryer, even though the instructions say that you can. I just hung it out to dry. :(
