Runs small and no stretch
For reference, I bought the kick it in this wash as well as Bitchin and Fan Favorite to compare washes/fit. These ran much smaller than the other two and had no stretch. In the Bitchin I ordered a 25 and 24 and could wear either pair. I bought and am keeping the Fan Favorite in 24. I bought these in a 25 and they fit smaller than the 25s in Bitchin (would probably need a 26). Also, while I have very toned abs, the fabric on these caused my obliques to slightly bulge/hang over the waist. If u like rigid jeans, you might like these but I would say you might want to size up 1-2 sizes compared to other Mother washes and styles (I typically wear a 24 or 25 in mother)

My new favorite jeans. Time and time again Mother jeans seem to fit me best. True to size. For reference I am 5.7, 140lbs and I wear a 28

Beautiful but no stretch
Like some other reviewers, this specific fabric was not stretch at all making sizing way off.
Great straight leg jeans but the sizing is tricky
I like comfortable jeans but not sloppy looking or oversized. I usually wear a size 28, sometimes a 27. I bought the 28 in these since my last pair of Mother jeans was a 28. I had my doubts about the look on me when they first arrived but my husband loved them on me so I kept them. The first time I wore them I thought maybe I had gained weight because the high waist seemed a little uncomfortable. After just 3 wears I am now thinking I should have gone down to the 27. I think they stretch more than expected with only 1% elastin. Other than wishing I’d bought the 27 I’m very happy with them.

Runs small
I am 5’5” and consistently a size 27 in Mother jeans- and all jeans for that matter. These missed being zipped by multiple inches and I did not see the stretch that others talk about. I universally love Mother jeans but these were unfortunately a big miss for me.
Meh
These were a miss for me immediately when I put them on, I felt like a grandma couldn't get them off soon enough! The rise just makes me feel plump or bloated but maybe that's just me if you like the high-rise. These might be a hit for you?
