What It Is

Each Hermès Beauty brush is a true objet d'art housed in a signature orange box. These brushes now form a collection in their own right: Les Pinceaux Hermès.

Le Perfecteur is a complexion brush conceived by Gregoris Pyrpylis, creative director of Hermès Beauty, and designed by Pierre Hardy, creator of Hermès Beauty objects. Its beveled shape was inspired by a horse's hoof and lets you apply foundation liberally but evenly. The dense, supple synthetic bristles, hand-assembled by a French brush-maker, smooth makeup across the face uniformly and precisely. The three-tone lacquered wooden handle sits comfortably and intuitively in the hand.

    Designed for use with both fluid and creamy textures, Le Perfecteur deposits just the right amount of makeup in a single application, for a result that combines a natural look with complete control. It is easy to care for: just wash with a neutral soap after each use, then rinse in clean water. Dry flat to preserve the quality of the fibers.

Perfect Foundation Brush

I bought to use with the new Hermes Plein Air Luminous Matte Skin Foundation and it does not disappoint. While it is $$$$, it smooths the foundation. At first, you might see brush strokes, but when the foundation settles in ( in a few minutes), the look is seamless. If I want to buff out the foundation, I finish with a tiny triangular puff and the foundation looks great all day long, about 8-10 hours.

I’ve been using this brush for a few weeks now and I love it. I was hesitant to get it because I have other foundation brushes I like a lot (HG Airbrush, Rephr LC). This one is so gentle and has more flex than my others, which I’m preferring for liquid foundations. It’s big enough for the face and narrow enough for concealer under the eyes. I love multiple function products! I used it with the Hermes foundation and it applied well, but the formula didn’t work for my dry combo skin type. Keeping the brush though!

Beautiful to look and works well with foundation

The brush is smooth and applies foundation very easily with out any streaks and brush has some weight to it and crafted very beautifully.
