Sheer,glossy,non sticky,long lasting color MAGIC!
This is the second time I purchase this. I’m 54 and have a few lines on my lips. I’ve never had lip filler. I no longer like glosses. I don’t want to deal with feeling sticky and having my hair stuck to them. I like using lipsticks that are also a treatment. For the last decade I’ve only almost exclusively used the Chanel Rouge Coco Flash Hydrating Vibrant Shine Lip Color and recently their ROUGE COCO BAUME SHINE. I love them but my only concern is that they barely last at all. I just reapply constantly. But now I found this VB that is becoming my new favorite. For me it’s is all about how it feels on my lips. It feels hydrating and non sticky yet glossy in the best unique way. It’s called a balm but the gloss is heavier than a balm. However it’s not a heavy, sticky gloss I only used the Cannel glosses for two decades, my mid 20s to mid 40s. But hadn’t used a glossy lipstick in over 10 years. I’m surprised to say, it’s the first time I’ve found a lot of gloss that’s not sticky at all. For a hydrating sheer glossy lipstick it is very long lasting. The high gloss disappears with some time but the lips remain tinted, and not in a dry way, it’s a hydrated stain which is extremely important for my mature lip skin. I have only used the Colette which is the reddish color. It is sheer. Looks transparent coral, pink, cherry bright red. Compared to the Chanel ROUGE COCO BAUME SHINE, this VB offers way more longevity which is very important to me. My Chanel balm lasts a few minutes and doesn’t leave any stain behind. Sheer longevity! This is brand new to me. I really love it and can’t recommend it enough.

Colored wax?
Not a product of quality. No true sheen or gloss, it tugs and feels like what I imagine trying to use a colored wax crayon as a lipstick. Expected more from VB.

Nice
The product itself is nice enough, leaves a lovely sheen on the lips. My only issue is the packaging. Unless you know - it can't be retracted. You hear a clicking noise and apparently one click should be enough for application, should you click too much the product is exposed and can't be put back into the stick.

Nice balm
I picked up a couple of these as I love a lip balm, the product is actually really nice but not quite sure they are worth the money as more expensive than others on the markets, they provide a nice sheen and a tint and feel nice and hydrating, packaging feels expensive and heavy. I like the product a lot but question its values

Good lip balm - doesn’t last long
Really nice everyday lip balm – gives a subtle glossy tint and feels super hydrating on the lips. Looks natural and polished without trying too hard. Shade Glacé is perfect for a barely-there look. Only downside is it doesn’t last ages, so you’ll need to reapply.

Non sticky gloss, long lasting color
I’m 54 and only use treatment balms, mostly Chanel (white packaging). They don’t last at all. This VB balm leaves a stain which makes it long lasting. The glossiness goes away but the color remains. It offers shine like a light gloss but is not sticky. I used the Chanel glosses exclusively from mid 30s to 40s but stopped bc I reached an age when my hair sticking to my lips and the overall stickiness bothered me. This VB balm doesn’t have sticky feel. I actually love the gloss on it. This is the second time I purchase it and I did in the same color, Colette. On my lips it’s a pink-coral bright transparent cherry red. I love it and I will continue to purchase it. I highly recommend it. 10/10
