Phenomenal product

I am so impressed with Stanley. I am a corporate commuter and Stanley has not let down on way to work and in office. This includes Stanley thermoses and water bottles. My family and I are hooked on them..there is nothing better. For Holidays, this is what I buy for my in-laws!!

Love the look and functionality but… The parts of the top lid have separated with a tiny gap in between that is impossible to clean! There is mold growing inside the gap. Not sure if this is a defective item or design fault.

residue gets trapped inside the lid?

I had iced coffee in this bottle yesterday and put it in the dishwasher afterward. I made sure the bottle was completely dry before using it again today. However, while drinking water today, I noticed something brown coming out from the lid. I’m guessing some coffee residue gets trapped inside the lid, and I am not able to clean it properly. This is concerning because anything could be trapped inside the lid - like soap etc. Cute bottle, but I will toss it out… :(
