Perfect for combination skin!
The La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Cream is such a beautiful addition to my skincare routine. It has a wonderfully rich texture that hits the sweet spot and it’s not too thick and heavy but definitely not too light either. It feels absolutely amazing going onto the skin and melts in smoothly. For my combination skin, it has been genuinely perfect, giving just the right amount of deep nourishment without feeling greasy. Honestly, I would highly recommend it to any skin type looking for a luxurious, well-balanced cream!

Luxe Cream.. not really
The first thing I noticed about this cream was its luxurious packaging. The iconic blue jar looks beautiful, and the cream has a rich yet lightweight texture that absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky or greasy residue. My skin felt soft, smooth and well moisturised after each use. My biggest disappointment was the fragrance. It is far too strong and heavily perfumed for my taste. Instead of feeling luxurious, it reminds me of products from high street beauty brands. I also prefer skincare with less added fragrance and more natural ingredients. Overall, it’s a pleasant moisturiser with a lovely texture, but I didn’t notice results that justify its very high price. I like it, but I wouldn’t say I love it.
Caviar Liquid Lift Serum
I had the opportunity to try the La Prairie Skin Caviar Liquid Lift Serum and overall I have mostly positive feelings about it. The luxurious packaging immediately gives a premium impression, and the serum has a lightweight, silky texture that absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky residue. My skin felt smooth, hydrated and comfortable after each use, although I didn’t notice the dramatic lifting effect I expected for such an expensive product. The fragrance is much softer than the matching cream, which I appreciated, but it still smells more perfumed than natural. Personally, I prefer skincare with little or no added fragrance. Overall, this is a lovely serum that feels elegant and pleasant to use, but I don’t think the results fully justify its very high price.
