Product Details
- By interpreting plant forms in cast metal, Aram presents work which is evocative of a natural environment transformed and redefined. Says the designer, "This collection was really born out of the sense I have of haute couture. There is a velvety luxury – an almost gothic quality – to representing orchids in blackened nickel. To me, the pieces feel seductive and graceful, yet dark and unexpected."

about the brand
During his first trip to Delhi, Michael Aram was so captivated by the rich tradition of craftsmanship and centuries-old metalworking techniques that he set up his own studio. More than 30 years later, over 200 local Indian artisans handcraft exquisite tableware, linens, and decorative objects for the home. Inspired by the natural world and drawing on the designer's background as a painter, a sculptor, and an art historian, the brand's striking creations pair delicate organic details with signature metalwork.

Elegant kitchen decor
This piece is absolutely elegant without being flashy. 4 stars because of a small defect on the base, which I would not expect in an item of this price.

Art
I have an open kitchen and the paper towel holder is visible from the living room and dining room. It makes it a piece of art.
