Nicely made tote
This was my first Madewell bag and I can see where it gets its name. The leather is soft and pliable, and the details of the bag are nicely done. The size is great for every day, and it's heavy and cumbersome the way some totes are. The strap closure sometimes gets in the way which I don't think is necessary anyway since it has a magnetic closure which automatically closes a bit more than I like. It also would have been nice to include the small make-up bag the way many totes do.

Perfect bag
I love this leather bag. It holds so much and still looks classy. The leather has a nice feel and the inside zip pocket hides my keys and cards. The inside lining finishes off the bag nicely.

Madewell Tote bag
The Madewell tote bag was delivered on time as expected. However, upon checking the item, it appears that this particular tote bag was the last item in stock and it is obvious that it has been either used, returned, or came from a discount store. It didn't even have a single price tag, and no indication of what brand it was. Very disappointing experience most especially from Bloomingdales from which I have a very high expectations of the products they carry. Needless to say, I called to report this issue and was told to return the item for a full refund.
