Excellent quality!
I will never buy another brand of backpack again! Had a Thule before that lasted so very long and wanted a touch bigger so I bought this one. The quality can’t be beat and I love Al of the different well thought out compartments! Recommend to anyone who needs a quality backpack!

Great capacity, yet slim looking, maybe 1 thing…
I’ve been using the Thule EnRoute backpack for 2 mths, and overall it’s a very solid everyday bag. It holds a lot without looking bulky. The bag has a clean, streamlined profile even when fully packed, and the storage layout is generally well thought out. There are plenty of pockets and storage spaces, and everything feels purposeful. The collapsible shoe pocket is a standout feature—practical. That said, a couple of details could be better. I wish the zipper on the laptop compartment opened wider—it can feel a bit restrictive when looking for cables in the pockets. I also find myself wanting more internal dividers in the second main compartment to better organize smaller items. My biggest gripe, though, is stability. The bag does not stand upright. Because of the large top-front quick-access pocket (and the sunglasses case), it has a tendency to tip forward when set down. It’s a small thing, but it becomes annoying quickly—especially at work or in cafés. Leaning the bag, the other way around works too but it’s my OCD. Bottom line: excellent capacity, clean aesthetics, and smart features, but the lack of upright stability and a few missed organization details keep it from being perfect. A great bag—just not a flawless one.

Great Commuter Backpack
I had an older version of the EnRoute, which lasted for years and is still functional. I'm sure the new version will be just as durable.

This was a BIG hit!
I purchased this for my grandson who started college this year. His old backpack was too small to carry his laptop and all accessories he needed for his classes, plus he travels home on some weekends and needs room for a change of clothing.I spent so much time online looking for something that would be large enough and was good quality. When I came across this Thule backpack, I was thrilled because it hit all the marks! He opened the package for Christmas and was so excited! Of all the gifts he received, he spent most of his time checking out his new backpack! I also bought him the lock and accessory bag for it. I think this Grandma did good this year!

Love this bag! Closest thing I can get to perfect.
Durable, organized, and versatile. I have had it for a couple of years now, and it has held up well. For one night or two, it is always my go-to to and if I fly, it is my personal item. I love the shoe compartment and the toiletry wet pouch. My only real complaint is that the safe zone for sunglasses is a bit too big and eats up a little extra space you could have for clothing. If Thule ever discontinues this bag I hope I find out before they are all gone so that I can have an extra for if I ever wear mine out!
