Excellent carry on choice!

I waited to review this piece in order to allow me a few uses. This is my fourth Travelpro purchase. I am a repeat customer due to the exceptional quality of their products. This case is no exception. We bought 2 of the same case in order to replace old (different brand) carry ons bags. The inside organization is useful. This is the only hard side case I have ever owned that has a laptop pocket. I stored a folder with confirmation documents in it instead. The wheels glide so smoothly, the bags tried to roll away from us when we were stopped on an incline. Zippers glide smoothly as well. I appreciate the ability to lock the suitcase for when we are forced to gate check the bag or even when we leave our luggage at bell services in the hotel. I was able to pack a week’s worth of clothing for a “winter” trip to Florida. We also own a platinum elite soft side carryon and the suitcase I choose for a particular trip would depend on what and how much I want to put in the front pockets, since the soft front pockets can expand a bit. When traveling on international airlines I choose Travelpro’s maxlite international carry-on since weight and size limits are more of a consideration. Again, you can’t go wrong with Travelpro.

Nice Bag

Appreciate the ease in moving with the spinners. Nice finish. Quality bag. Like the laptop pocket but its zipper can be difficult due to angles, charger pocket, internal pocket, expansion gusset. Thought it would have more internal space like my Hartmann, but the internal dividers make it difficult to pack boots and larger shoes. It’s as large as I can get without a check-in, so I’ll use it a lot given the à la carte pricing of airlines. Recommended.

Space in the case

Half of the suitcase is hard molding limiting the amount of clothing that can be put in case. Not happy with the suitcase

Quality is great, useable space is limited.

The addition of the outside pocket and the space the wheels and telescoping handle limited the packable space. Appropiate for an overnight or weekend. Didn’t seem adequate for 3-4 days. Otherwise the craftsmanship, maneuverability is excellent
