Chemical smell
The first rug came and smelled like a skunk. I returned it. I liked the size and design, so I ordered a replacement hoping the problem was unusual. The second rug arrived and smells like chemicals. I have been airing it out in a well ventilated room and outside for 2 days. It still stinks. I am thinking I will need to roll this back up and return it too. For a wool rug, I am surprised at the smell. I have had 4 wool rugs and none of them smelled like chemicals. At this point. I cannot recommend this rug.
