I Bought the Backpack Before the Car—Manifesting in Progress
I’ve been a loyal TUMI backpack carrier for 25 years (yes, a quarter century of monogamy with luggage). My old bag still looks great, but I was craving a little midlife excitement—enter the TUMI | McLaren Velocity Backpack. It’s sleek, fast-looking, and clearly built for someone who’s either boarding a Gulfstream or running a board meeting. The styling? Absolute perfection. The compartments? Well thought out. The quality? Peak TUMI. But then there’s the charging port. I wound up poking a hole in the bag to run my cable to the laptop compartment, which made me feel like a surgeon performing elective tech surgery. Still, this thing turns heads and makes me feel like I should be stepping out of a McLaren. For now, I’ll settle for building my practice until that dream is parked in the driveway. Four stars—because even great design occasionally needs a little DIY spirit and a dash of ambition.

Great bag
Compact, small but big. If you are like me, you don’t need much space, or don’t want to avoid cluttering. This one is just great. Fits a laptop and a tablet (maybe 2), and the front holds enough space for a change of clothes; or a utility bag and notebooks. The side pockets fit a small umbrella and other small items. I wish it would fit a small water bottle.

Exceptional service and impeccable quality
This is my second Tumi backpack I’ve purchased from Bloomingdale’s. I always buy from them because it’s easy to buy on line, items arrive quickly and in impeccable condition. If I need to return, or exchange, there are no issues whatsoever and process is easy. I know they carry items and brands with the utmost quality, so I don’t need to go to a specialty store when I have everything in one place. Also, I get loyalty points, which I can use towards other merchandise. Love my Bloomingdale’s.

Nice looking bag that's smaller than anticipated and not worth the price.
Bag is nice and looks great, but nowhere near the value for the price. It's a much smaller bag than I anticipated. You're frankly better off spending a third of the price on a bag that will be just as nice, if not better.

My luggage purchase
It was very easy ordering my purchase and I was pleasantly surprised how fast I received the item. It was a gift for my wife and she loves it. She loves to shop at Bloomingdales and is always telling family and friends of the great deals.
