Elegant look - quality feel
It is just a beautiful piece of luggage and all the hype about the soothing sound when you click it open is real. It feels quality. Have used in on about 6 flights so far and no real scratches yet but have not had to gate check it so it has been in my hands only. Have only seen one other in the airports to date. Love the bag!

Nice Luggage- Not Durrable
I like this Tumi carry-on very much, but there's an important caveat: if you ever have to check it, it will dent and the finish will wear off quickly. I learned this the hard way on a small plane from Santorini to Athens — the luggage was seriously damaged by what the airline called "normal handling." If you think you might ever fly on a smaller regional aircraft, this is not the bag to bring.

Horrible Service and Durability
I used the Tumi aluminium suitcase for less than 4 years and maybe 20 trips. The suitcase lock stopped working and Tumi refused to provide a replacement for this product and less than a 50% refund. Do not ever buy anything from this company. Quality and service are both horrible.

Beauty, Quality, and Durability
I chose this bag because of its beauty, quality, and durability. I love the textured look to the aluminum outer shell and the beautiful blush color. The construction is excellent, the latches are very secure and it rolls nicely. The size is perfect too for holding all my essentials while being light enough to lift into an overhead bin.
