Returned it!

Unfortunately, I had to return this item. It’s beautiful and has a nice weight to it, but if it accidentally drops on your foot—or worse, your pinky toe—it could do some serious damage. The base separated from the napkin holder, likely because the adhesive either wasn’t strong enough or wasn’t applied properly to begin with.

A piece of art

A beautiful napkin holder and well made. We've had the pomegranate vertical napkin holder for over 3 years, which we use on the kitchen counter, and it still looks great. We switched to Bounty paper napkins which are thicker than grocery store brands and we seem to be refilling the vertical holder way too often. I thought this dinner napkin holder would hold much more but it holds about the same. So we use both now. The vertical on the counter and this dinner napkin holder on the table. The bottom of this one is stainless steel but doesn't seem to scratch the table. I received different napkins than shown on Macy's website. I prefer the black napkins. Overall, however, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Beautiful accessory

I bought this Michael Aram Black Orchid napkin holder as a housewarming gift for a special friend who’s kitchen is gray, whit and black. She loved it!! It looked so elegant on her kitchen counter top ! Just brautiful!!
