Nice, but liked my old one better….

We had our old rectangular can for maybe 20 years or more. Worked great until the opening mechanism broke recently. The new one takes the same bags, J, and is rounded. The rectangle fit better, but this is fine. . except for the big wasted open space in the back. Very visible as built. I will never want or need a bag dispenser back there. Since it is visible from the side, I would prefer it all enclosed. Also, I preferred having a removable plastic liner for cleaning any leaks. So there’s my opinions!

Better than the previous version.

I like this trash can better than the previous one. It holds the same amount but has a smaller footprint. It is so much easier to keep clean. Very happy with this purchase.

Kitchen step can

This is a wonderful addition to my kitchen. For about 20 years, I had a previous SimpleHuman model, and it has function perfectly. But this new one is more efficient, has a lovely exterior finish, and the bags fit more perfectly. Now I want to find something similar for my bathroom!

Simply the best!

I love Simple Human! They are the best products! This one I use for trash and it has the deodorant in the top so if anything smells it will not in the kitchen! It’s clever and intuitive. I have the bags nearby. I use them quite frankly if there’s an issue I can text them for support and they will send videos and instructions on what to do. I use their soap dispensers in the kitchen and bathrooms! They are the best!

Nearly Perfect, Just One Minor Quirk

Very well made and thoughtfully designed. The bin feels stable and well-balanced, with no tilting or sliding during use. The lid closes quietly, and the overall appearance is clean, modern, and attractive. The only thing I wish were different is that when changing the liner, the lid opening is closer to 80 degree rather than 90 degree when lifted with the liner rim. This can make removing a full bag a little awkward, sometimes requiring you to slightly tilt the bin towards you to pull the liner out more easily. Aside from that, it's an excellent product.
