Great candle, scent is not for me

This candles quality is just what you would expect with Voluspa, amazing! The jar is stunning, it burns beautifully, and the throw is great. This is clearly a fan favorite scent but personally, I don’t love this scent. It reminds me of soap or cleaning products. Scent preference is personal, I also don’t love the Baltic amber and some other widely beloved scents for this same reason. I prefer cherry gloss, Nepali passion fruit, perfectly pink yuzu (to name just a few) It’s so rare with Voluspa but this specific scent just isn’t for me.

My Favorite Voluspa Scent!

Voluspa’s Makassar Ebony & Peach is hands down one of my favorite scents. I especially love burning it during the fall—it just has that warm, cozy, inviting feeling that makes the season even better. But honestly? I love this scent all year long! The combination of rich ebony wood and sweet peach is absolutely beautiful. It’s warm without being too heavy, sweet without being overpowering, and sophisticated enough to make any room feel special. Every time I light this candle, I’m reminded why I keep coming back to it. By far the best scent Voluspa has ever created!

My sister in law bought us the Makassar scented candle over 10 years ago. My entire family has been re-purchasing the candles and diffusers. There’s no other scent that has ever come close to the unique smell this candle burns. We love it. I think it’s safe to say that we have all tried a million different candle companies but none compare to Voluspa. They smell best and burn longest. I hope this scent never retires!

Signature scent

I came across this candle at a boutique out of town and now I always find a way to keep it in my home. It has become the signature scent of my home. It’s strong, yet doesn’t overpower the home. It creates an atmosphere of rest, a sort of quiet luxury. I absolutely love this scent.
