Size Issue

I am 5’11” and the dress was dragging on the floor. I am a size 12 and ordered a size 10 since the reviews said that it ran large. The fabric and color is beautiful but I would have to have a lot of alterations to make it work which would incur a lot of additional costs.

Gorgeous but not what was expected

this dress is gorgeous, it accentuates perfectly. It’s super flattering and material is great. I mean just the designer is enough to know it’s worth it. The only downside to this dress is the picture makes it look like a vivid yellow and it’s way more muted like mustard dark yellow. I kept it because it’s still gorgeous but it was not what I wanted or color scheme I needed. I will use for a different event.

Beautiful Gown but……

This gown is beautiful….fabric is silky. I’m 5’6” and 155 lbs, 38C chest and I bought a size 10. It fits perfectly except for the hem which is a good 10” too long. I’m now seeking out a seamstress to hem it. One thing to note is the actual dress is not anything like the color in the photos. It’s more of a metallic gold than a flat yellow gold. Another thing is for the price of it, the way it arrived was abysmal, thrown in a box full, and I mean full, of wrinkles! That is horrible. The hook and eye on the neck also was coming off and needs to be resewn on. It says it comes straight from the designer MacDuggal rather than Bloomingdale’s, which is strange that they’d ship a dress for that much money so poorly. First photo shows color difference and wrinkles. Second photo shows length on tippy toes at 5’6”.
