    Compact includes sponge applicator. For Sheer to Medium coverage, use the dry sponge. Apply just as you would a pressed powder. Avoid the eye area. For Medium to Full coverage, dampen the sponge, then smooth powder onto face. For best results, use after your preferred Laura Mercier Foundation Primer.

    Pro tip: For the most flawless, natural look, Laura says it's key to avoid over-applying foundation to the middle of the face, where too much formula can accentuate lines and other imperfections. With liquid, crème or powder, she recommends starting at the outer portion of the face and working inward toward the nose. Focus on one area at a time and be sure to blend well.

Best powder foundation

I’ve used LM’s smooth finish powder foundation for years. It’s the best foundation I’ve found. It always looks natural, even when I opt for full coverage. I can’t believe LM has discontinued this product and the eye basics primer. What’s a girl to do to look great now??

This is great foundation but....it's out of stock a lot

I have been using this for years and love the coverage, but I often find my shade sold out or not available for quite a while. I would hate to give this product up it covers so well

Best foundation Iv e put on my face

Absolutely sad this product has been discontinued. This is the best foundation, as I like how light it feels. It also has a great blurring effect for something so lightweight.

Please don't ever take this away!!

In the past I've used powder foundations from MAC, Bobbie Brown, Lancome, and Channel. This Smooth Finish Powder Foundation by LM is the best by far. It's buildable, doesn't cake and get in between wrinkles and lines, best of all stays on 12-16hrs even in heat and humidity.
