Sharp blade great for softer foods. Pros is great for fine cuts Cons durability for heavy use.

Bought these as a gift

Bought these as a gift for my son's wedding, with an additional 6 1/2" Shun Nakiri. Haven't opened these, but I received the same set when I was married 25yrs ago, and gave them to my god daughter 5 years ago. I can't say enough about them. I am a knifemaker myself, but I can't complete with the quality, sharpness and aesthetic of your classic series.

Ehhhhh. . . On the smallest knife,

Ehhhhh. . . On the smallest knife, the logo already wore off. Also, with LIGHT washing (not abrasive scrubbing) all 3 knives are already scratched/scraped up.
