Changed formula is awful - discolored and loose

Why does L'Oreal keep changing the formulas on Kiehl's products?... Been using this for 10-15 years and now suddenly, it's so thin that it slips between your fingers (used to be more like a gel than slick goo) and it turned from blue to a weird rust within a couple weeks. Likewise, the scent is somewhat reminiscent of the original, but lacks its depth - smells like an artificial imposter. They seem to be milking a once great brand for whatever remaining cache its name used to hold - same retail pricing while cheapening their products
