What It Is

A creamy mineral eyeshadow that delivers buildable color in a range of shades and finishes.

    - Shades blend and layer seamlessly.
    - Color builds from sheer to full.

  • How To Use It

    - Swirl a small amount of loose shadow in the cap with an eyeshadow brush, such as the Essential Blender Dual-Ended Eye Brush or the Dramatic Definer Dual-Ended Eye Brush (both sold separately).
    - Tap away any excess.
    - Buff onto your eyelids in a sweeping motion.

    Wet Application:
    - Spray a small amount of water into the shadow cap, then add a sprinkle of eyeshadow.
    - Swirl the shadow and water together with the larger end of the Dramatic Definer Dual-Ended Eye Brush (sold separately), then buff onto your eyelids.

    Tips:
    - Prep your lids with PRIME TIME Eyelid Primer (sold separately) to create a smooth base and to boost color impact.
    - Be your own artist. Mix, match and layer shades to create custom looks. There is no wrong combination.
    - Blending is key. Use a fluffy blending brush such as the Essential Blender Dual-Ended Eye Brush (sold separately) to diffuse colors together until there are no obvious lines.
    - For more intense color, use a flat tapered brush such as the Dramatic Definer Dual-Ended Eye Brush (sold separately) to build color on the lid, then blend up and out with a fluffy blending brush.

Too Much Shimmer

This has too much shimmer. While the taupe color is a nice neutral, but the shimmer just doesn't flatter older eyelids. Why aren't any of the colors matte anymore????? I am in my 60s but still like to wear makeup, but as many other reviews have said, older women don't like eyeshadow with shimmer, it looks too crepey and accentuates wrinkles, doesn't hide them. PLEASE make colors that are matte, there is a population of women that need it.

Shadow in the color Celestine

I got a sample of the color Celestine and I always always get compliments on my shadow whenever I wear it. Definitely getting the full size. I love it so much. I always wet my brush when applying it for a beautiful pop of color!

Original only at Macy's

I ordered this in color bare skin, I like it. I will buy it again in different color. I prefer Macy's when it comes to buying cosmetics because I know that what I am buying is going to 100% authentic. Like the color and feel of this eyecolor. I am a huge fan of bareminerals brand.

Best Eyeshadow Ever

Bare Minerals eyeshadow pots have always been my #1. I strayed away for a bit with Urban Decay & Younique but have come back to what never lets me down. Color Bare Skin was my go to in my late teens & my 20s & now at 36 I’m back at it. It’s the perfect color! The online color does it no justice. Pairs nice with Cultured Pearl.

Still in love with Pussycat after all these years!

I fell in love with the 'pussycat' shade back in the 90's when it was part of a TV shopping Bare Minerals sample kit. I am so thrilled that it has not been discontinued after all this time, because I have yet to find another eye shadow that even comes close to the perfection that this is for me. I love that this alone, without blending other colors, can give me me the understated drama for daily use, and then I can kick it up a notch for stunning evening look. It is simply beautiful how this compliments my caramel skin tone. Not all stores that carry Bare Minerals carry this shade, so thank you Macy's for being one of the few places that I can find this.
