where are the NON incentivized reviews?!!

Firstly, i find it to be a little frustrating when almost every review on this entire site to be incentivized. If it's a good product, let it speak for itself. Myself, I paid full price for this item and i really like it. It feels very hydrating as i live in a very dry climate. However, i don't find that it did much (considering the price tag) for minimizing pore size or pigmentation. Also, the amount of packaging/waste that came in this order was RIDICULOUS!! I even opted to receive a recycable box as opposed to the standard, green, La Mer box, but it was STILL shipped in that green box. This has happened twice now. I feel like since everything is so pricey that they want to fluff every package up with as much paper & filling to try to satisfy the consumer spending a pretty penny, but y'all go way over the top. More so than almost any other skincare company that i order from, La Mer has got to be the worst offender of shipping SO much waste along side their items.

I have been using this treatment lotion for years and it is the absolute best! I have dry skin and living at high altitude I need as much moisture to remain on my skin as possible. It absorbs quickly and makes my skin feel silky.

My daytime moisturizer

My skin is aging, but does not take well to heavier moisturizers for daytime use, so finding this lotion in the La Mer line was wonderful. It is lightweight, but still provides that special sauce that the other moisturizers in the line deliver for skin that wants to look healthy and glowing each day. I will add a few drops of the sunscreen to this as I live in a sunshine daily climate, but otherwise, it is just a perfect moisturizer for those who don't want a heavier cream or product during the day.
