What It Is

A transformative, tubing mascara that wraps and stretches each lash to deliver dramatic length, lift and definition for the look of lash extensions in an instant. The revolutionary, custom-designed Instant Extension Bristle Brush envelops every lash, coating even the hardest-to-reach lashes, for weightless, fanned-out, eye-opening lift. Powered by lightweight fibers that lock in place for up to 16 hours of smudge-proof, flake-free wear. Available in Ultra Black and Espresso shades.

This mascara was the first permanent addition to Unlocked, a collection supporting Hourglass' mission to unlock the cages of wild animals in captivity. They donate 5% of the net profits from all Unlocked products to the Nonhuman Rights Project, the only organization in the United States working to secure civil rights for nonhuman animals.

I like this!

I was on a look out for a new mascara and bought this on the basis of good feedback. I went for a trial size and yes, I'm happy with it. I wanted something that extends your lashes to a max AND can be removed with make up remover (rather than hot water) and this fits the bill. Just wish they did it in chocolate brown. No regrets.

Best Mascara

As someone that has sensitive eyes and tried way too many mascaras I have finally found my favourite. This is without a doubt, the best mascara I've come across - no more red, dry itchy eyes post wearing mascara. It makes your lashes look full, long and volumised - will be buying again!

Mascara

The hourglass mascara is like a tubing mascara. I had heard great thing and it looks so nice and lengthening on other people. It works great and i am pleased with the results. Easy to remove as well. But it’s quite expensive so therefore I do not know if I would repurchase the full size next time.

Not for me

Wasn't mad about this mascara at all. It took lots of strokes to get my lashes coated. Taking it off at night was horrible, it kinda came off in bits, rather than dissolved. I tried different make-up removers but to no avail. I'll stick with my Pat McGrath mascara from now on.

perfect everyday

I didn’t expect to like this as much as I do, but it’s become one of those mascaras I keep reaching for. It’s not super dramatic, but it makes your lashes look really long and defined in a way that just looks clean and put together. It separates really nicely without clumping, and you can build it up a bit without it going spidery. I think it’s perfect for everyday makeup or when you want something a bit more natural. It’s definitely more length than volume though, so if you like a really full, thick lash look, this might not be enough on its own.

Gorgeous

Since purchasing this is very quickly become my all-time favourite mascara. I use this every day and it is a staple in my make-up routine. This mascara is the perfect jet black it gives my lashes gorgeous legs and separates them. Any time I use this mascara my lashes always look fuller and longer. Although this mascara is not waterproof, it holds up really nice if the weather is rainy and it does not smudge. This mascara was worth every penny and I will continuously be repurchasing this I recommend it to everyone.

great!

overall, this mascara is lifting, lightweight, and doesn't clump on the lashes at all. Also love the fact that it wipes off easily if it accidentally gets on your eyelid. It's super long-lasting, and I like that it doesn't budge even in rainy weather. I'd recommend!
