Therapeutic essential oils of blue tansy, German chamomile and beeswax absolute help to calm irritated, dry, flaky skin while clementine petitgrain improves skin tone, texture and clarity. Not wowed

Sunday Riley Blue Moon Cleansing Balm is a nice, gentle first cleanse, but it didn’t completely wow me. The texture is soft and cushiony, and it does a decent job of breaking down makeup without stripping the skin. It feels comfortable to use and doesn’t leave my face tight afterwards, which I appreciate. That said, I found it a bit underwhelming for the price. Compared to other cleansing balms on the market, it doesn’t stand out enough to justify the cost. It removes light makeup well, but for heavier makeup or mascara I still needed a second cleanse or extra effort. From what I’ve seen online, opinions are quite mixed — some people absolutely love how gentle and nourishing it feels, especially for sensitive skin, while others, like me, feel it’s pleasant but not particularly memorable. Overall, it’s a perfectly fine cleansing balm and does the job, but I wouldn’t rush to repurchase unless it was on offer.

Love this

This is a lovely cleansing balm. I love all SR stuff and I’m quite loyal to my Elemis cleansing balm but I wanted to try this one time. It did not disappoint. The bits give a gentle exfoliation when mixed with water, cleanses your skin completely. Although I do go in with a second cleanser too. You only need a tiny bit of this and it lasts for ages! Lovely product!

Love this! Can't go without

Ive been using over a year or so. It is the only cleansing balm I can use. There's no discernible smell and my skin is never irritated by it. I always follow with a cleanser after removing makeup but isn't necessary.

Over The Moon!

I used to use Elemis Cleansing Balms - but I absolutely love this product! The smell, the texture…. The way my skin feels after using it! This product is perfect and has replaced Elemis in my cleansing routine. It’s a great size too, nice and flat, good for travelling.

Nice light wash

I love Sunday Riley Blue Moon balm. It's a great, refreshing wash that smells nice, is creamy yet light, has a small amount of exfoliate and very easy to wash off. It's a real go to when I don't want to use heavy duty scrubs or masks. I've bought it several times now. A keeper!
