Great Knives but the block has to go

Product is very solid. Balanced and easy to handle. Very sharp and they hold an edge for a long time. Very diverse set with most of the common knives needed around the kitchen. My one and only complaint is the block itself. With this design, it is very difficult to remove the longer knives if the block in under cabinets. I like to have my block against the wall so that I have as much available counter space as possible. The slanted block would be much better in most cases. They should offer an alternative block when purchasing this set.

Disappointed With the Short Knives

For the price, I thought, for the price, I would be getting a substantial set of knives, instead i got the starter set. Disappointed.
