Solid overall, a couple of misses

I've had a Tumi Backpack for nearly 15 years. It's held up very well. I wanted something a little larger to act as a carryon for overnights. PRO - Good Organization - Extra Space Zipper (yet to use), which could come in handy - Laptop and iPad storage is solid - The handle to lift up the backpack is greatly improved over the old one. CONS - Only 1 zipper on the Laptop and iPad, whereas the old one had 2 zippers for the laptop. This sounds trivial, but it's a pain. - The straps are not near as sturdy as the old backpack and constantly twist when putting them on. There was never an issue with the old backpack. - The magnetic pocket that lifts up to a plastic laminated portion is more trouble than anything. No idea who thought that would be useful. I see it becoming a problem over time.

Great backpack! Love TUMI organizational features, style, size snd durability

Gifted this to my grandson for school. He loves the organizational features as well as the classic black. I’m confident he will get a lot of use out of it as he selected it. He also has the McLarem Paddock (for travel) but prefers this for school

The perfect travel backpack

I love this backpack. It looks very stylish and with the expandable bottom, I can actually travel up to 3 days without needed a suitcase.

100% the right choice

Absolutely love this backpack. I sadly tried 2 other brands before realizing that I should have gone with Tumi all along. Great construction, awesome utility and functional. Highly recommended!

Best bag pack. PERIOD

Simply the best backpack you can buy. I'm 6'4" and all the other Tumi backs seem small and sit high / uncomfortably on my back. This is not only the best Tumi backpack for someone of my height, but it is simply the best backpack I have ever owned; and I've owned many, including some highly regarded ones like Peak Design. This bag is uber functional, not gimmicky, and just oozes class and timeless style.
