A great electric kettle

I’m in love w this kettle. It’s the right size and heats water so quickly. It’s so attractive- as are all Smegs- and of highest quality.

plastic

Item is heavily plastic not worth the price. it feels very cheaply made, and somewhat concerning to use plastic in a device made for heating water. I’d suggest a different brand.

BUBBLES grow around cap & spout a few month later

If you want to buy this kettle, you must keep the recipe at least for a year. Cause you will see BUBBLES grow around cap and spout and they don't want to do any customer service without it. They indicated ‘Manufacturer's 1-year limited warranty’ but they required the recipe of purchase. Some ppl buy with cash and don’t keep the recipe if they want to keep it. This bubble things happened by manufacture issue not by purchase issue. And I am sure there is no knock off SMEG out there. Wherever I buy SMEG it’s from SMEG It definitely not worth it for the price. You could buy even better quality with 30bucks.
