Samsonite Uplift XL Hardside checked suitcase
I bought this and took it on a round trip flight from Portland, to Dallas, Texas and back. Traveled well and was easy to lift and maneuver thru airports. No denting or damage except for a few scratches.

I love my Samsonite uplift spinner
So far my new spinner has taken one trip to Europe, and I am very happy with it. It's super lightweight, but it seems more solid than my last spinner. It packs neatly and is easy to close and zip. (When I was closing my last spinner I had to be very careful to get the top and bottom lined up so it would zip properly, and this one seems much more stable.) I wanted to find a handle that would work easily and seemed strong enough to last. So far, I feel good about this handle. I like that it expands if I need it, but I'm surprised at how much I can pack in it without using the expansion.

Beware of the small size of this suitcase
This suitcase is much smaller than my outgoing carry-on. I don’t know if I can pack a weekend of clothing into it. I would explore larger sizes.

This suitcase is unbelievable
Tearing of the zipper after one use. I purchased a suitcase one week ago, and it already started tearing at the zipper. I did not check the bag and carried it on the plane myself. I did not overpack the suitcase either. I submitted my original review with one star and Samsonite rejected my review stating it couldn’t be published with no reason.

Carry-on for every occasion
Very good carry-on. Good quality and looks very neat. I love the fact that it is expandable. That makes it very flexible for all kinds of trips.

Very lightweight, but not scratch resistant!
We were on vacation and did a little too much shopping so decided to buy an extra suitcase. We have found that the Samsonite suitcases usually hold up better with the wheels and outer body. This suitcase is so light and with both sides that zip up, it makes packing so much easier. Many of the comments suggested that the lighter colors showed more dirt, so we went with the black. Used it on our international flight home. Picked up our luggage on the turnstile and found that it was not scratch resistant! I’d stick with the silver color.
