Beautiful bag with one key design flaw

Beautiful bag! It’s larger than a typical mini but smaller than a full size backpack, which is just what I was looking for. (Request for the powers that be at Bloomingdale’s: please include pics of bags on models so we can easily understand sizing!) Can be dressed up or down. Will be perfect for travel. Shape is wide which makes the proportions a little odd but I don’t mind the extra space that provides. Removed a star because the straps don’t stay in the buckles! They slide right through them when there’s any weight in the bag. Definitely a design flaw. I rigged up a solution, which doesn’t look as nice and will make it annoying to ever adjust the length. But I liked the bag enough to keep it anyway.
