Not a replacement for the soap bar. Made me break out
I'm 60 years old and have been using the Clinique Men's face soap bar for about 30 years. I was very disappointed to see it was discontinued so I bought the Face Wash figuring that it would be a good replacement. Well, I was wrong. After using it for 1 week, my face was breaking out like I was in high school. It was dried out and all these painful oil cysts were forming beneath the skin and at the surface there were whiteheads everywhere. I stopped using the face wash a week ago and my face, though still broken out, is healing and getting back to normal. I ran the ingredients through Claude AI to see what it would say about this. 1. Methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone (last two ingredients) This preservative pair (MCI/MI) is a well-known cause of allergic contact dermatitis, and dermatologists have flagged it as a common preservative allergen. The typical picture is dry, itchy, red, irritated skin. It can also get weepy or bumpy. Rinse-off products carry a lower risk than leave-ons, but reactions still happen, especially with daily use on the face. Your old bar soap almost certainly didn't contain it.

Love Clinique!
My son-in-law loves the Clinique products. He says they make his face feel great. I buy them from time to time for him and he is very appreciative and pleased.

Two thumbs up dinner
Purchased as part of a gift for my youngest son. He has been using Clinique Men’s for years. The wash works well and does not strip the skin of its moisture.

Doesn't work like the CLINIQUE Facial Soap Bar
they say this is the replacement for the Bar they used to make and sell for many many years - well it's NOT - it doesn't work like the CLINIQUE Facial Soap Bar EXTRA-STRENGTH - They should bring back the BAR -

Hate it.
I've been using your men's line since it came out in the mid 80's, having been a buyer for Belk. Furious over your discontinuing the bar soaps. This stuff leaves an oily residue on my face and as the day progresses, feels like slime. What were you thinking? The waste involved as it slides off your hands while popping the cap back on the tube is maddening. Most of it lands on something else on the way to the shower drain. Looking for a new product.

Have been buying your men's face bar soap for 40 years and now I find it discontinued. That was a great soap and better value than your soap in a tube. You still have a lot of your older dedicated customers out here but I'm looking elsewhere now. Bad marketing decision but I'm seeing that a lot lately as your moving to the younger consumer but it's us older consumer that has the money. Goodluck

Refreshing Clinque Face Cleanser

Bait and switch
I returned this due to a bait and switch on the free gifts with purchase. 2 of the 3 gifts were cancelled from my order and never arrived. The chat was unhelpful and ended abruptly. Even just know when I clicked the link to “contact us” the page errored out. I will take my business elsewhere.
