Weak and not worth the price
I am very disappointed in this candle. The throw is nonexistent and after trimming the wick and burning for multiple hours, it still tunneled and the wick was off center. If I hadn’t got this on sale, I would have initiated a return.

Earthy, woody undertones with a hint of juniper.
Aroma from this candle is a little different so may not be to everyone's taste. So if it's a gift then you may want to choose a safer option. That said it's very pleasant, earthy, woody. Like all Diptyque candles the smell lingers long after the candle has been extinguished so they don't need to be burnt for too long.

Unique scent but so enticing
I love this scent, it is unique but familiar, with masculine and feminine notes. I get asked what the scent is when people visit my house and I’m almost inclined not to tell them, that’s how much I wanted to keep it a secret :)

Smoky
This candle has a very woody, smoky and earthy scent. I’m not usually a fan of the smoky scents (Feu de bois etc.) but this one is more balanced. It reminds me of the Essence of John Galliano candle. It smells gorgeous when burned alongside Narguilé (which adds a little bit of sweetness) and also with the Roses, as on its own it can be a little bit too sharp.

The great outdoors
This candle smells like the great outdoors, it’s earthy, dirty and quite green. It smells like fresh hay, rain and grass cuttings. The scent is beautiful and refreshing, I particularly burn it when it’s raining or overcast outside. The candle has burned okay so far, there have been a couple of issues with tunnelling but it rectified itself further down the jar.

decor and scent favorite!
Warm and inviting! I usually like sandalwood, amber, bergamot smells and this candle is perfectly spicy while not being overpowering. It looks great in any room and smells amazing! Baies is too fruity and feminine for me.

Fabulous fragrance
I adore Diptyque candles and Vetyver as more than lived up to my expectations. It is a highly perfumed candle and I would describe the scent as woody with background notes of oud. Within 10 minutes of lighting the candle my room was filled with a luxurious heady scent. While expensive compared to other scented candles on the market Diptyque are in a league of their own.
