Worth the price......
Had my eye on these since they came out. Like an earlier customer, I thought they were a little pricey and would wait until they went on sale. Kept an eye out and finally just said, "gotta have 'em". I can say they equal or exceed A-E quality and style, and glad I got them now as opposed to waiting. Construction was especially top notch. AS a larger guy, the full sole/heel makes them a lot sturdier than most casual shoe. If you have your eye on them, dive in.

SUMMER HOLIDAY STYLISH
I purchased these shoes for my summer getaway. They are stylish and very well crafted. Backed by the AE brand, these shoes sold me. "You pay for what you get!" No regrets about the purchase. I was very impressed with the leather's quality. I used Saphir Medaille d'Or Pommadier Natural Cream Leather Conditioner, and there was no discoloration. NOTE: I'm generally a 10.5 D size but ordered down to 10 D as the loafer may stretch with use.

Too loose
The show is so loose because the woven leather is so soft that it has no structure and my foot slides right out of the shoe. The leather back of the shoe does not support my heal the leather is soft and buckles.
