Definitely is not true. The size will run small. I am a size 10 or a size 40 in EU sizes and my foot hung off the back lol definitely need to go up at least a half size. still love the sandal and would recommend if you’re looking for something stylish. Just be sure to size up a half size.

Uncomfortable
These sandals are beautiful and high quality material used to make them however I am returning because the leather material on the thong portion is super uncomfortable, very hard, it hurt when I tried it on and I never took a single step. I was so excited about these.
