Soft wool fabric, no shape or structure.
Soft wool fabric, designed with no structure. Loved the light wool fabric, but there was absolutely no tailoring or structure. It was like they laid the fabric out, cut out the shape and stitched the sides. No shoulder seams, lower body flared out. Too bad, the soft wool fabric was perfect.
An indoor layer
The coat is thin--more like a long sweater blazer than a coat. Not very polished. For $3-600, not worth it IMO. If I could grab it for $150ish and use it as an indoor layer to spruce up an outfit or as a light fall jacket, it might be worth that. But it is not a coat for a NE winter--at 8 degrees here now, no way.

I was thrilled to find this coat on sale as I had wanted to purchase it last winter. I love the camel wool classic coat and will get lots of wear in fall and winter.
