Clasp doesn’t work

I just visited my daughter and brought her this bracelet for a BIG birthday in August! When she put it on half of the clasp would not stay attached. This means she now has to go to the jewelers, get it fixed and pay for something that should not be! The bracelet, although one carat, is beautiful, well done and just perfect for an every day look for her. But she should not have had to tell me on the way to dinner that this wonderful present was flawed! Thank you
