Beautiful Jacket - for a Linebacker...
Okay, so that title is a little mean - but as much as I adore the concept, the fabric, the style, the buttons and everything about this gorgeous true brocade jacket, the shoulders are simply too much. This style from the 80's (I should know) always had shoulder pads to give it structure - these do not, much as they need them. The result is that the shoulder itself is on the natural shoulder, but the inset puff sleeve sticks out and up, without any buckram/stiffening to hold it. Maybe if I sized down it might have been more becoming, but I would not have been able to button the jacket otherwise (which is what I wanted). I am an XL, always purchase XXL in Aqua, and just found this too overwhelming from the bust up. I think this jacket is stunning, but needs to be tried on, and probably would work better in smaller sizes.

This is such a fun jacket- I wore it to a wedding welcome dinner and got tons of compliments. Beautiful colors and floral pattern. I expect to get tons of wear out of it. Looks great with jeans or over a dress.

Tapestry jacket
I liked the basic style and fabric of the jacket, but the sleeves were to puffy and did not look good for me. Also I did not like the buttons. I think buttons that blended more with the jacket would have been better.
