Rose of No Man's Land Absolu de Parfum

Web ID: 5615397Elegant & sophisticated rose
I’ve been sitting on the fence about purchasing this one for a while and I’m so glad I did. I’ve purchased other woody rose fragrances before, such as Jo Malone and this one is by far the most unique and special. It doesn’t have the sickly oversweetness that you get with some other rose fragrances and it lasts a very long time on the skin - you don’t need a lot! If you like the original, this is a more dramatic and sexier version.

Modern Rose Fragrance
I tried the original fragrance which I loved but felt it didn't last long enough. This is gorgeously complex with an uplifting opening of pink pepper. it's a lovely mix of freshness and warmth due to the black raspberry and Amber notes. Wish it did last a bit longer but leaves your clothes smelling divine!

Not for me
I quite enjoy using the body lotion with this scent so have tried the perfume a number of times, but it so far has not won my heart yet. The scent is complicated, a bit of floral, woody and warmth mixed but somehow it does not translate on the skin as nicely as I had hoped.

Beautiful but not old fashioned
I was worried it will be an old fashioned rose, but this is very refreshing and modern. Of course the rose is the main note here, but it's more fresh and youthful. It can be worn anytime to be honest, day or night. Layers beautifully woth soft vanillas

A beautifully crafted fragrance
I've been a fan of Byredo for years, and Rose of No Man’s Land Absolu definitely lives up to the brand's reputation for quality and sophistication. The rose here is deep, lush, and slightly spicy - I'd say it's more mature and grounded than your average floral. It opens with a fresh burst, but quickly settles into something warm and slightly resinous, almost like rose petals soaked in amber. I get compliments whenever I wear it, especially in the evening or on cooler days. That said, I took off one star because the longevity isn’t quite what I expected for an “Absolu.” I was hoping it would last well into the night, but it fades after about 5–6 hours on my skin. Still, it's a beautifully crafted fragrance. It's elegant, not too sweet, and very wearable. If you love rose scents with a bit of edge, this is definitely worth trying.

Lovely rose scent
This is such a soft, elegant rose scent. It’s not powdery or old-fashioned- more like fresh petals with a hint of warmth. Feels calming and really wearable, even for people who don’t usually go for florals. I like it for quiet days when I want something understated but pretty.

Lovely scent
The Byredo scents are very lovely. This is a stronger Rose scent. Top notes include saffron, pink pepper and blackcurrant give the scent the warmth. They list black raspberry and peony at its heart which to me takes a while because the roses are quite dominant. My favourite is the dark patchouli and black amber and those give the scent more complexity. I always get many compliments

Magnetic and Mysterious Rose
Rose of No Man’s Land Absolu is an intense and beautifully layered rose scent. The smoky base of papyrus, patchouli, and amber gives it real depth, while the raspberry and peony add elegance. I love how it feels both luxurious and mysterious — a bold, darker take on the original.
